Mission

• Identification and analysis of needed educational programs of library and information professionals and agricultural researchers across Agricultural research and education organization (AREO);
• Collaboration in preparing and developing course outlines and appropriate educational texts and materials;
• Cooperation in planning short-term courses, continuing educational programs, and university programs for library and information employees throughout AREO;
• Coordination and cooperation in holding and running needed courses for library and information employees, researchers, and managers throughout AREO;
• Designing, planning, and running professional workshops and seminars in information science and information seeking areas for information professionals and agricultural researchers as well;
• Evaluation of carried out courses considering teachers and students views about course contents, space, facilities and other components;
• Following up educational affairs of Agricultural Scientific Information & Documentation Center(ASIDC) personnel;
• Study and investigate about optimum ways of presenting educational services;
• Planning and managing to attract trainees from all over universities to perform paraprofessional activities in the center.
